Summary: Dr. Samantha Waters is an FBI criminal profiler who has the unique ability to use the clues left at scenes to "see" crimes from the perspectives of both the victim and perpetrator. Working with the elite Violent Crime Task Force headed by Bailey Malone, Sam uses her gift to resolve a succession of confounding cases, but she remains stuck in a perilous cat-and-mouse game with the elusive serial killer Jack-Of-All-Trades, who murdered her husband.
